No matter where and how? Yemeni children must get their education

With more than 2 million children out of school in Yemen since the conflict escalated in 2015, it is no longer important where these children are educated.

The war has destroyed schools and infrastructure, left a dilapidated school system, and deprived millions of children access to schools.

While organizations are working to rehabilitate damaged schools, Yemenis are trying to educate their children in temporary learning spaces, possibly in a destroyed building or in a room of an abandoned house.
