Assem in a wheelchair in displacement camp

It has been 9 months now since Assem, 8 years old, and his six siblings escaped their home in Idlib countryside from bombing. His siblings’ conditions were probably better than his, since the little boy has had a new mission, namely to drive his wheelchair over the camp’s rough terrain. That’s why he chose a place to sit in while watching the children playing at the camp.

“I hope I can play with them”, Assem said.

Since his birth, Assem has been suffering from paraplegia.
